Why do we put soooo many limitations on ourselves?

“I don’t know how to do …..”

            “I don’t have the time to…..”

“Who would ever consider me for….”

            “How could I ever….”

I listen to others (okay, me too!) as we tell ourselves and other why we are not smart enough, talented enough, attractive enough, rich enough, tall enough, short enough….. to do something.  Why?  Especially when we see examples EVERY DAY of seemingly ordinary people make extraordinary strides and accomplish extraordinary things.  What do they know that we don’t know?  How did they make their average situation and average life extraordinary?

You know what they do?

Somewhere along their path, they stopped limiting themselves.  Instead of telling themselves all of the reasons why they couldn’t do or be something, they started thinking of ways they could do or be something.  After thinking this for so long, they started believing they actually could accomplish the “impossible.”  Guess what came after their beliefs?  ACTION!  They stepped out, took a chance, and they did it.

What limitation(s) do you need to halt and how do you need to rethink what’s really possible for you?  I know what I’ve had to do and I know what I still have to do.  I’m not quitting and neither should you.

Let’s make the impossible possible together!

Until next time….
